We, Mothers Against Violence, an Israeli civil movement of women and mothers committed to peace, justice, and nonviolence, write to you with an urgent plea: to intervene immediately to protect Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank from the escalating wave of violence carried out by armed Jewish extremist settlers, with the full protection and often active participation of Israeli military and police forces.
Every single day, Palestinian families wake up to the sound of gunfire, destruction, and terror. Children are chased from their homes, mothers watch as their houses burn, and entire villages are being erased under the shadow of a state-sponsored campaign of terror. These are not isolated incidents; they are part of a systemic policy of ethnic violence, enabled and legitimized by the current Israeli government and its messianic ministers.
While the world’s attention is fixed on Gaza, the death that knocks daily on the doors of Palestinians in the West Bank goes unseen and unanswered.
The faces of their killers are uncovered and unashamed armed Jewish terrorists emboldened by political protection, ideological impunity, and a government that has abandoned both morality and law. Will this be?
We appeal to the United States as Israel’s closest ally and as a member of the international community to deploy an international protection force immediately to the occupied West Bank (State of Palestine).
The same urgency and capacity that were mobilized to coordinate international military aid for Gaza must now be redirected to protect civilians under occupation from state-backed settler terror.
This is not an internal Israeli issue.
It is a humanitarian emergency, a moral collapse, and a direct violation of international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention and the UN Charter.
The ongoing attacks against Palestinian women, children, and families are crimes against humanity, and silence, at this moment, is complicity.
